wolkentanz

One of the successful sons of the legendary sire Weltmeyer is the chestnut stallion Wolkentanz, a 1991 chestnut 16.1 hand Hanoverian. He became Champion Stallion at the Verden licensing in 1993. One year later in 1994 he won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses, and was runner-up in the stallion performance test, scoring a convincing 140.53 points in the dressage category. In 1995 Wolkentanz was honored as the best stallion of his age-group. Like his father, Wolkentanz has excellent movement, rideability and a supreme talent for dressage. Wolkentanz is well known for his lovely performances as a member of the Celle Dressage Quadrille. His offspring are generally very typey, elegant and with excellent movement and temperaments. In 2001 he produced both the champion colt and filly of the German Foal Championships–with both scoring perfect 10’s on their gaits. Wolkentanz I is the sire of Rohanna’s 2004 filly Wolkenstanza. Wolkenstanza was inspected by the AHS in 2007, scoring an overall 8.5, the highest score given in 15 years to any mare. She then showed her quality at breed shows winning filly and young horse championships with score from 80.5 to 83.5 from conservative judges. We could not be more thrilled than we are with that Wlokenstanza and will definitely breed Rohanna back to Wolkentanz again and again hoping for something half as good!
